Yuba Cargo Bike for Pets

Cargo Bikes for Pets

The dog is part of the family, they ride in the car, accompany you to the park; heck they even sleep next to you in your bed. So why leave Fido at home when the family heads out on a bike ride? Hello! You’ve got a Yuba cargo bike; dogs are cargo too! Like kids, dogs come in all sizes and shapes; they wiggle around and can be unpredictable. So we got crafty and came up with some pretty clever ways to safely carry your dog on a cargo bike. Below are just a few options to try out with your furry friend.

Comfy Pet Basket

Yuba Cargo Bike with Dog Basket

Of course every dog and cat has a comfy basket at home. So why shouldn't they have one for the road as well? The Yuba Bread Basket is a perfect fit for cats, dogs, bunny rabbits and any other medium-sized pet. The Bread Basket is 19 x 14 x 6 inches and has a carrying capacity of 50 lbs. Crazy, right? Nope. You can put a full grown pit bull in that basket, no problem, as long as everyone behaves. Secure your pet's leash to the basket, add their favorite blanket and you're ready to take on the world together. The Bread Basket is attached to the bike frame, not the handlebars, which means the basket doesn't move when steering to the right or left. So Fido can enjoy the view and relax without too much distraction.

Dog Bag for Cargo Bikes

The Baguette V2 cargo bag is an excellent sidecar for your pooch; with a view of the road. This cargo bag can hold up to 10 gallons / 22lbs. of goodies or one medium-ish size dog. The Sideloaders on each side of the frame offer extra support and comfort to keep your pup safe and sound. Secure the Baguette to the side of a Yuba Boda Boda or Yuba Mundo cargo bike and you and Fido are off on an adventure together, side by side. Heck, why stop there? Your bike has two sides, so you can add a second dog, a couple of kids, a surf board and some groceries while you’re at it.
